Al-Azif has released a series of PS4 homebrew related tools today: notifi (a function to send notifications to the PS4), liblog (a logging library), as well as PS4 Skeleton, a “template” for homebrew developers who want to get started, relying on the two other libraries. In parallel, Al-Azif has released a “remake” of PS4 Vibe, a controller rumble tester.
These tools will be in particular useful for those of you who want to get started with PS4 homebrew development, as example you can follow.
What is PS4-Vibe for PS4
PS4 Vibe is a simple Controller Rumble tester for the PS4, with a not-so-well hidden easter-egg. More importantly, it’s open source (source below) and a good example of how to make PS4 homebrew using the Open Orbis toolchain.
Some of you might remember that Al-Azif has already released pretty much the exact same tool more than two years ago. This is a remade version using the Open Orbis toolchain.
Download
You can download these tools from the developer’s github, following the links below
You will need a hacked PS4 to run PS4 homebrew.
