Hi guys, I’m really sorry I haven’t been around for the past few weeks, I’ve been abroad! I’ll explain about it inside but lets move onto some news, EA has been a bit naughty plenty on the new GTA, and a video from Playstation being around for 20 years!!
So just to get it out of the way, I went to America for a couple of weeks. I did ask on the other guest bloggers for cover, but I had no luck unfortunately so it had to go on a hiatus, as I wanted to just get away from everything, blogging, trying to eat 4000 calories a day and tracking them, good ol’ Acid_Snake said he would do the 3rd, but I guess he realised you need to write more than 400 words and gave up
Here’s probably the most American thing i saw out there:

Ben & Jerry’s chocolate covered pretzels with peanut butter and Fudge? Standard.
Anyway! Let’s get onto why you clicked on this post. Let me show you the new vita game that was announced this week.
Klaus – PS4, Vita Q2 2015
So take a look at the trailer below, the developer posted this on the PlayStation blog, and described it as a ‘self aware platformer’
Klaus is a narrative driven, 2D puzzle-platformer that provides a non linear, self-aware experience while striving towards a fluid gameplay that allows the player to control two characters as well as the environment. Together, Klaus will be an immersive gameplay experience on PS4 and PS Vita in the second quarter of 2015.
it looks pretty interesting, this is a pretty cool twist in the game too:
Another key aspect of the gameplay is when Klaus becomes aware of the player, and breaks the fourth wall by doing the opposite of the actions of the player, putting most faith in his own free will.
Okay, so I can see it being a bit annoying, worst comes to worse just flip the dualshock/vita upsidedown
Playstation is 20 Did you know that? Well you do now!
Playstation Japan released a birthday video, oddly featuring some older games like Pong and Pacman, and as the video goes on you can see the games getting newer and newer, progresing through the ages and different consoles. As always, they’ve chosen an awesome song I’ve never heard of, here it is:
Does anyone actually know what song this is? It doesn’t say in the youtube comments box, and it would’ve been in japanese anyway. Shazam couldn’t find it either…
Anyway, it’s a pretty cool video, I like how it has the series progressing too, like all the Tekken games and other franchises.

Okay, so now for something either creepy or cute, it’s up to you, as a pre-order bonus for LBP 3, a plushy of our very own sackboy. He looks a bit different however:
I think he’s a bit creepy. But some people like creepy, I guess.
I had no idea it was being release already, I do remember thinking when it was announced at E3 that it was coming out quite soon after its announcement, but it’s certainly come up quick! This is going to be a christmas present for my sister/myself
Insert Coin Clothing do alot of awesome gaming merch, they’ve previously done TLoU clothing, Ellies shirt and also Joels, and now they’ve moved onto God of War, they’ve done a few shirts and a hoodie for the game, take a look:

This is some pretty cool stuff, I won’t be getting it, mind you. What do you guys think of them?
Okay, so back on the VGA Telltale announced two new games, one of which being GoT Game, and there were a few screens released recently. here they are:
Although I do like the art style, I couldn’t comment on the rest of it being as I don’t watch the series. but it does look prety cool, like all telltale games.
The website with the images is foreign, so it’s been run through google translate:

GTA Time now! The first section is about how they’ve played around with the DS4, they’ve used the touch pad so you can either; Switch camera perspectives/angles,Radio stations, weapons and quick toss a grenade all by swiping in a different directions.
Of course, they’ve had to do something with the speaker now, so they decided that you can listen to the police radio chat through it and any phone calls the three make you’ll be able to hear them through the speaker too.
Okay, so what about the light bar?
Well as standard, it’ll be the colour of the character you’re playing (anyone remember which one is which? Trevor is red, right? Is there a red?) But when you’ve got the cops on your tail, it flashes red and blue as the author on the PS Blog put it ‘to make it perfctly clear you want to be somewhere else.’

Okay, so here’s an interesting improvement. There’s been plenty of mods on GTA IV, one of which included a first person adjustment. and I presume it was pretty popular, because they seem to have added a first person mode into this game, whether the mod made the decision on the addition or not we won’t know, but it’s probably likely.
R* made the announcement on the PS Blog, rather than letting one of the PS Blog goons make the announcement, they said they’ve added tons of new animations and over system changes to accomodate for the change:
Available in both GTAV and GTA Online, Rockstar Games has made a host of changes to accommodate this new perspective, including the creation of an optional first-person cover system, a new targeting system, a more traditional FPS control scheme, and integrating thousands of new animations into the existing game. It’s also available at the touch of a button so you can easily switch back and forth between perspectives.
There’s also a little reminder that you can transfer your GTA Online character from the PS3/360 to the PS4.

Okay, with all this good news about improvements and stuff, there’s no doubt that this will come at a cost of data…. and it certainly does! According to a person pre-loading the game, the game itself is 44.9GB and the day one update, yep, like every game has nowadays, because games can’t ship complete now, is a beefy 1.14GB – Now you may say, ‘oh that’s not too much’ and it’s not, but that’s still a 15-30 minute download and that’s 15-30 minutes of not playing your nice new game
I know it says 4 hours, but he had multiple things downloading so that doesn’t count and with downloading stuff it always displays an overestimated download time until it’s actually downloading.
