Developer Gl33ntwine has released a port of Mass Effect Infiltrator for PS Vita. This follows his release less than a month ago of a Dead Space port for PS Vita, as well as other ports such as Fahrenheit, Crazy Taxi , Rockstar’s Bully and GTA San Andreas, as well as Final Fantasy ports.

What is Mass Effect Infiltrator for PS Vita?
Mass Effect Infiltrator is one of those too rare “Mobile game Done well for a popular franchise”, and, incidentally, made by the same company that made Dead space Mobile. This is certainly not to the level of the “main” Mass Effect franchise, but the atmosphere is here, and it’s a decent shooter.
From the port’s Readme:
Mass Effect: Infiltrator is an iOS/Android-exclusive Third-Person Shooter with RPG Elements released as a tie-in game to Mass Effect 3. The players take control of Randall Ezno, a Cerberus Operative that ends up at odds with Cerberus’s plans for himself and his coworkers. Much shooting and backstabbery ensues.
This is a straight port from Android, leveraging the ARMv7 wrapper by TheFloW, meaning no emulation is involved.
This means the game runs fine. But the PS vita is not the fastest device on the planet, so in our test we had several battles in which the framerate drop was a bigger threat than the actual gameplay. Dying because the game is slow is never fun, but I’ve found that quickly looking for cover until assets are loaded helps in most situations. Using PSVShell to overclock the console might help (I haven’t tried yet)!
Controls can also be occasionally stiff (is strafing even possible?), but other than that the game is pretty enjoyable, and it’s a blast to get back to the Mass Effect universe, for those of us who had never tried the mobile game before. I appreciate that the mobile game keeps some key components of the original game, such as weapon upgrades, or the occasional paragon/renegade choice to make.
Controls
— Note that Aim (
) is not hold-to-aim. You click once to activate aim mode, and once again to deactivate it.

Setup (from the readme)
In order to properly install the game, you’ll have to follow these steps precisely:
- Install kubridge and FdFix by copying
kubridge.skprx
andfd_fix.skprx
to your taiHEN plugins folder (usuallyur0:tai
) and adding two entries to yourconfig.txt
under*KERNEL
:
*KERNEL
ur0:tai/kubridge.skprx
ur0:tai/fd_fix.skprx
Don’t install
fd_fix.skprx
if you’re using the rePatch plugin!
Unlike the Dead Space Mobile port, there is no requirement for
kubridge.skprx
version. Any version should work.
-
Make sure you have
libshacccg.suprx
in theur0:/data/
folder on your console. If you don’t, use ShaRKBR33D to get it quickly and easily. -
Legally obtain your copy of Mass Effect: Infiltrator in a form of an
.apk
file. Make sure that your game is v1.0.58.- If you have it installed on your phone, you can get all the required files directly from it or by using any APK extractor you can find on Google Play.
- Note from Wololo: the game hasn’t been available on any appstore since 2018, so, hmm, yeah, find the files lying around on your phone I guess?
Verify that your build is exactly the correct one using sha1sum (can also be found as an online tool). sha1sum for

intoux0:data/masseffect
on your Vita. Example of correct resulting path:ux0:data/masseffect/lib/armeabi/libMassEffect.so
-
If your
.apk

. Copy all files and folders from there toux0:data/masseffect/assets/
on your Vita. Example of correct resulting path:ux0:data/masseffect/assets/AssetInfo.indicate
,ux0:data/masseffect/assets/published/data/healths.prefabs.sb
