Sony officially dropped Youtube Support from the PS Vita back in 2015. Although technically it is still possible to watch youtube on the PS Vita through the integrated browser, a native app is often more appreciated. This is what GrapheneCt‘s Netstream brings back.
Version 2.00 and 2.01 add support for other ways to watch video content (FTP support), local storage support, and more translations for the GUI.
What is NetStream for PS Vita
NetStream is a PS Vita homebrew app that lets you watch Youtube on Sony’s handheld. From the Readme:
Universal video streaming client for PS Vita
Supports:
- YouTube videos and livestreams
- HTTP server
- FTP server
- Local storage
