Another cool release for the PS5 scene, today Zecoxao published decrypt_rnps, a tool to decrypt React Native Apps used on the PS5.
What is decrypt_rnps for PS5
decrypt_rnps is a C tool that decrypts rnps (React Native PlayStation Apps). These apps are web based, but some of them seem to be related to the PS5 GUI in particular, and possibly more.
Ifaicompa had provided several rnps apps a while ago, going from firmwares 2.00 to 6.90 included. They can be found here, at the time of this writing (source)
Download decrypt_rnps
There is no binary release yet so you’ll have to build the executable yourself. The developer states this has been tested on Ubuntu 20.04
