If you’re reading this article, chances are that you’ve got a couple of controllers lying around the house for your various consoles and devices. Unfortunately, these are rarely compatible cross-console but thanks to ndeadly’s MissionControl, you can use a good deal of popular controllers with your Switch and with version 0.2.1, even more are supported!

What is Mission Control? Which controllers are supported?

MissionControl allows you to add controllers using the Controllers applet giving a pretty native feel!

As the introduction explains, MissionControl is a sysmodule for hacked Nintendo Switch consoles running Atmosphere that allows you to connect various unsanctioned controllers to your console. Unlike Cathery’s sys-con which lets you connect various controllers via USB, ndeadly’s MissionControl allows you to connect your favourite controllers via Bluetooth meaning that you can play games your own way without any extra cables getting in the way!

When it comes to controller support, MissionControl currently supports the following:

  • DualShock 4
  • XBOX One S/X controllers that support Bluetooth (i.e. all excluding the Model 1537 & 1697 units)
  • Wii U’s Pro Controller
  • Wii Remote + Accessories such as the Nunchuck, Classic Controller & Classic Controller Pro
  • Various Ipega controllers including the 9023, 9062S and 9096 with some others also potentially working
  • Ouya, Gamestick, Gembox, Xiaomi Mi, Steelseries Free, GameSir G3s & Hori Onyx controllers

What does MissionControl 0.2.1 bring along?

MissionControl 0.2.1 comes with support for 3 more controllers including the Hori Onyx!

MissionControl 0.2.1, which was released a couple of hours ago, comes with:

Its developer, ndeadly, states that Atmosphere 0.14.3 (latest version) is required in order to use MissionControl 0.2.1 else the console would crash at boot. It is also recommended that one resets pairing information if updating from MissionControl 0.1.0 which can be done by following the link below.
