Adrenaline is a very popular ePSP hack for the Vita so obviously, some people would have different takes on how they want to theme their LiveArea bubble. Wololo /talk user “dmaskell92” decided to released a mod to Adrenaline Easy Installer (by ‘Freakler’) so that you could install his Adrenaline theme rather than the standard one that ships with Adrenaline Easy Installer.
What’s Adrenaline Easy Installer Black Edition?
This hombrew utility mod is a take on Adrenaline Easy Installer that adds a bit of dark style. The following is a list of what’s been added/changed:
- Adrenaline Easy Installer Black Edition installs the version of Adrenaline-5.1 (with the latest source code which fixes some bugs) with uma0: support that was covered in a previous article. This lets you use your USB pen drive/external HDD, Vita memory card or SD2Vita as your storage medium for PSP files depending on what you’ve mounted uma0 as. Apparently, the files for adrenaline-5.1 have been replaced with the modded version with uma0 support so you can’t install the official version of adrenaline-5.1. The changelog wasn’t updated either…

Adrenaline Easy Installer Black-Edition
- A different LiveArea theme replaces the official purple(ish) theme for the Adrenaline bubble. The installer itself also got a black edition theme.
- Param.SFO was edited so Adrenaline Easy Installer Black Edition doesn’t replace the official version of the installer. This mod is based off version 1.15 of Adrenaline Easy Installer.
The main attraction of this mod is the different theme and the modded version of Adrenaline. I would recommend you give this modded installer a go to see if you like the theme better and get uma0 support if you haven’t installed the modded version already!
FTPzilla Vita and Plugins Manager Beta released
FTPzilla Vita is an FTP client for the Vita written in ONElua. You may access FTP servers with it and it has various features that you can read more about below. Sadly, I wasn’t able to get it working (I tried different FTP servers on different devices) but you might have better results; if so, please post them in the comments section! This homebrew is by DavisDev of GitHub.
Plugins Manager Beta is homebrew utility that you could use to enable/disable plugins and delete them. It didn’t read my plugins under the *KERNEL section for some reason; and it also doesn’t let you choose whether you want to edit the configuration file in ur0 or ux0. This homebrew is by kylon of HackInformer forums.

To get Adrenaline Easy Installer Black Edition, simply follow the links below. It’s an unsafe homebrew so get it from a safe source. You’ll also need to change the file extension to .VPK from .ZIP to be able to install it on your Vita. You may get the other homebrew from the links below as well.
